Setting Information

Provides a general overview of the various OC settings (Canon, AUs, etc.) May include information about established IPs. I do not own any of them, unless if the setting is stated to be original.

PKMN

Set in the modern-day Pokemon universe. Features Karin and her team of pokemon, but primarily presented in their gijinka forms. Occasionally involves the gijinkas in their "regular" pokemon forms. Has a slice-of-life vibe, and is not taken too seriously for most part.

Occasionally involves storylines set in the past, featuring various characters and their former lives. Generally more serious than the present-day shenanigans.

    • AU where Caledfwlch (Viktor) is the trainer instead of the other way around. Features him as a formerly retired ace trainer, with Karin (as a Deino) being a new addition to his team
  • PKMN Form AU
    • AU where everyone is depicted in their respective Pokemon forms, with no trainer. Specifically involves Karin as a Deino.

D&D:

Set in a custom D&D campaign set in the far west where a group of unlikely comrades get involved in a secret rebellion against an oppressive monarchy that is attempting to achieve godhood through the use of blasphemous means. Things generally went wrong.

A sub-campaign was set in the same universe, in the east, within an academy of wizards and sorcerers involving a group of students hailing from various prestigious families. Unlike in the west, godhood is seen as the highest feat of man, and is highly coveted by many.

Modern (Original)

A general setting set in a parallel present-day world. Has many sub-AUs / alternate AUs within the same setting with varying storylines.

Generally serves as a "modern AU" for most characters. The default Modern AU has a casual tone. Some character storylines and sub-AUs may be a bit more serious than the others, though.

Everyone lives in a vaguely present-day western setting. Characters have set nationalities but are all assumed to be either neighbors or colleagues of some sort living in the same general area. Character relationships are left vague in order to play with specific configurations in the sub-AUs.

  • High School AU
    • AU where Karin, Piper, and Theo are all in senior high school. Generally lighthearted in vibes, but may sometimes involve bullying and age-gap relationship bits.
  • College AU
    • AU where Karin, Piper, and Theo are all in college for their undergrad. Generally lighthearted in vibes.
  • Office AU
    • AU wherein Eilhart is working in a law firm as a paralegal. Involves gratuitous workplace sexual harassment.
  • Divorce AU
    • AU where Viktor and Eilhart are inexplicably married, but the marriage goes very badly. Generally focused on their strained relationship and the succeeding conflict. Involves domestic violence, infidelity, and internalized homophobia.
  • Schoolgirl AU
    • Joke AU where Viktor & Eilhart are high-school girls despite being physically in their 50's and 40's. Revolves around grown men doing typical high school girl stuff like getting involved in school councils, school clubs, school-related drama, etc. Features Karin as a depressed salaryman who gets taken advantage of by Viktor via compensated dating.
  • Painter AU
    • Technically not a modern-day AU but is assumed to be set in the same parallel universe. A historically-inspired AU set in the late 1400's in an HRE-inspired region wherein Karin is a painter from the east hired by Viktor to serve as his court painter. Stuff goes down between the two of them romantically, but it is never resolved due to their difference in status.

Dragon's Dogma AU

Set in the world of Dragon's Dogma. Involves two AUs, one for each of the mainline games.

    • A seaside-dwelling mage loses her heart to the dragon, and is led on a quest to get her heart back. She is accompanied by her pawn, Viktor, throughout their travels. The two end up falling victim to the depths of Bitterblack Isle.
  • Dragon's Dogma 2
    • A former medic loses her heart to the dragon while saving a friend. She wakes up with her memories erased, guided by a mysterious figure to discover her fate. She is accompanied by her pawn, Viktor, throughout her travels. The two discover an unfortunate truth behind the world they live in, and are forced to make the greatest sacrifice of their lives.

Vampire: The Masquerade AU

Set in the world of darkness. Comes in two different AUs, with the Eilhart-centric one serving as the "main" AU.

Versions
  • Main Storyline
    • AU that follows Eilhart, a former priest-turned-vampire in his attempt to navigate his unfortunate unlife and his slowly-weakening grasp on his humanity. Later involves Theo, a power-hungry diablerist of a fledgeling who brings problems to everyone he gets involved with.
  • Main AU - Subplot
    • AU that follows Alexis, a neonate neurosurgeon who was tasked to observe and feed a newly-awakened fledgeling Methuselah. Also involves Ludwig, a flighty trust fund neonate who was also tasked to assist Alexis in his babysitting duties.
  • Alternate AU
    • AU that follows Piper and Karin, a pair of fledgelings sired by an elder Ventrue, Viktor, in an attempt to raise and groom a suitable successor before either the beckoning or the sleep of ages takes him, whichever comes first. This AU is largely incompatible with the main AU. (as Viktor is human in the Main AU. Theo would not exist in this AU. Eilhart's involvement in this AU is minimal.)

Monster Hunter AU

Set in the world of Monster Hunter. Follows Viktor, a nomadic hunter and his palico, Karin. Occasionally features his fellow hunters during expeditions.

A post-apocalyptic setting where supernatural beings roam the world. Loosely inspired by Lilith's Throne.

Fish / Mermaid AU (Original)

One-off AU for the sake of drawing Viktor and Eil as mermaids. Also includes fisherman Karin, who, for some reason, keeps getting into Amelia Earhart-type scenarios where she gets whisked away by Viktor for a few days at a time to...wherever the fuck, really.
