Life

Relatively uneventful childhood except for his fascination with roadkill and the fragility of life.

At one point during his residency, he drew the attention of one of the hospital's senior surgeons. He eventually took Alexis as his mentee, both to tutor him and to prime him as a potential successor.

He was eventually introduced to kindred society the more time he spent under his mentor's tutelage -- he found himself more gradually involved in the hospital's seedy underbelly, which ranged from activities such as kinded-related blood collection to corpse tampering, both as a way to prepare him for the horrors to come and to desensitize him as early as possible, all while managing his regular neurosurgery in his regular hours. His assistance with his sire eventually helped him secure tenure due to his sire's meddling, who had been involved in the hospital's board for decades despite not holding any relevant positions whatsoever.

Upon his embrace, he wound up working closely alongside his sire, both in human and kindred matters. He gradually took over his sire's medical duties while his sire plotted out his own "retirement", so that he could focus full time on more pressing kindred concerns.

Some point in the mid-2000's, a slumbering corpse of a Methuselah, nicknamed Matthias, was accidentally awoken by a team of human archaeologists after a staked 'mummy' was transferred to a local university for inspection. After a (relatively) quick cover up by the local Camarilla, Alexis' sire found himself tasked with appeasing Matthias in order to both keep him from potentially breaking the Masquerade and to (hopefully) lull him back into torpor in the near future. While Matthias was relatively cooperative, sating his hunger became the primary problem for Alexis' sire, and by extension, Alexis' own. The two eventually collaborated with the local Sheriff to gain access to the custody of kindred who were slated for their final death, doomed to be altered into a fleshy heap of blood for feeding purposes, as to avoid upsetting Matthias' sensibilities.

Alexis and Matthias eventually grow closer, forming a bond akin to brotherhood, having been embraced and awoken respectively within the same timeframe. Both were treated as fledgelings under Alexis' sire's wing, both of them eventually finding purpose and a relative calm as the years pass.

Alexis would eventually take over his sire's duties after his final passing somewhere in the late 2000's. He formed a coterie of sorts in the 2010's with Matthias and the Sheriff's protégé, with their duties under the Sheriff cementing their position in the local Camarilla.

He would meet his end via diablerie, after protecting Matthias from a diablerist who had settled for him instead of the Methuselah in the heat of battle.


Appearance

Has neck-length grey hair that's tied in a very short ponytail. Has blunt angs that frame the side of his face. The rest of his hair is cut bluntly.

He has teal eyes, and used to be nearsighted. Still wears rectangular frames despite his eyesight being fixed upon his embrace. He has light skin, with an olive undertone. Takes on a sickly hue, however.

Has an average build. Not much body hair.

Typically wears plain turtlenecks or button-up shirts. Often dresses in layers.

Has a creepy smile.

Misc. Info / Notes

  • Well-respected in his field, but is pretty hard to contact.
  • Works alongside the local Sheriff. Primarily on cleanup duty.
